@LizCGil Just wait until you get to the part where the associate is sent to file a patent in one day. Oh, never mind the fact that they are both M&A lawyers and litigators…
@MagisterBracey I’ve flown many times in the past two years, including internationally, sometimes with a N95 and sometimes without a mask entirely, and I did not get COVID from flying.
When I was young it used to stress me out that people underestimated me; now it just means I can operate in stealth mode longer. And be way farther ahead when people catch on.
@KSVesq Interviewer noted that I had an incredible relationship with my former manager (which I did!) and asked what I thought contributed on both sides to the successful relationship?
Thought-provoking question and demonstrated that they were really seeking to understand my background.
@KinseyAndrew@KSVesq I got the same question too!
I appreciated the tailored questions about my background and application. It allowed us to have better conversations about whether it was the right fit.
In a made-for-TV moment today, ran into the courtroom today during trial right as the partner was addressing the court, “I do have a motion, but I don’t have a physical copy of it.”

@StuartSayer@Parkerlawyer I’ve worked all throughout law school and generally do this with my friends! Pay it forward. Good karma will always come back in some form. Plus senior attorneys have taken me out many times.
So since @Westlaw is down, does that mean I can go home?
I’m sorry Partner, I am unable to finish this brief because @Westlaw won’t return any searches or shepardize any cases.
