Prince William is going to win the battle.
He refuses to use his mother’s memory, he refuses to compete for headlines, he refuses to let the tantrums and Machiavellian plots by his treacherous brother move him in any way.
His eyes are on the future. His heart is pure.
Not my usual post topic........
But I’m sick of the Boomer hate. Everywhere I look, it’s the same thing. Boomers ruined the economy. Boomers hoarded all the houses. Boomers wrecked the planet. Boomers made it impossible for anyone younger to get ahead. Like my entire generation sat down one day and decided to screw everyone who came after us. I worked. I saved. I paid into the system for decades. Now I want to spend some of what I earned, and suddenly that’s a moral failing. Wanting to live in the house I paid for is “hoarding.” Taking a vacation is “stealing the future.” Existing past 65 is apparently an offense. Housing is expensive. Wages stalled. Costs went up. Fine. That’s real. But acting like every Boomer personally priced you out of a starter home is lazy. Governments printed money. Corporations consolidated. Zoning locked cities down. Colleges sold a $200k degree for a $50k job. Interest rates, regulation, immigration, supply, demand — pick a cause. “Old people exist” is not an analysis. And the entitlement in it is wild. Nobody owes you the same deal your parents or grandparents had. Life doesn’t come with a guaranteed starter home, cheap college, and a pension. Plenty of people in my generation got crushed, too. Plenty of younger people are doing fine. Outcomes aren’t a morality play by birth year. I’m not apologizing for working, saving, and wanting to enjoy the result. If that’s “Boomer hate” fuel, so be it. I’m done pretending I should feel guilty for not being broke.
Rant over.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
The relentless PR assault demanding Prince William be “the bigger person” and reconcile with Harry is delusional, insulting and completely unacceptable.
William has BEEN the bigger person.
He stayed and supported his grandparents in their final days while Harry and Meghan were attacking the institution they served. He stood by his father while dealing with his own wife and father being diagnosed with cancer.
He was the bigger man while Harry and Meghan made cruel and deeply damaging allegations against Catherine and their supporters spread vile conspiracy theories about her.
And he was the bigger man when he maintained his dignity and silence while two people who showed no humility, remorse or restraint repeatedly attacked his family.
“Forgive and forget”?
William is neither God nor does he have Alzheimer’s.
He has every right to remember. And he has every right to decide that Harry and Meghan are not getting back into his life.
Only a fool would expect him to hand them another opportunity to hurt his family.
He certainly doesn’t owe them a reconciliation.
Fuck you and fuck that.
There are some people who become famous. There are some who become legends. And then, very occasionally, there is someone who becomes part of the fabric of people’s lives.
Dolly Parton was one of those rare souls.
Born amongst the mountains of Tennessee, she somehow became beloved far beyond them. USA claimed her, quite rightly, as one of its own, but Dolly belonged to the world. From Tennessee to London, from Nashville to Sydney, from the smallest country town to the grandest city, people knew her songs, her smile, her humour and that extraordinary voice.
And somehow, they felt they knew her.
Dolly had a generosity of spirit that seemed almost old-fashioned. She gave without fuss, encouraged without condescension and used her extraordinary success to lift others rather than merely elevate herself. Her Imagination Library alone put books into the hands of countless children, but her greatest gift was perhaps less tangible.
She made people feel that goodness was still worth something.
She carried her faith in God throughout her life, not as a performance, but as something deeply woven into who she was. She spoke of heaven without fear and of those she loved with the quiet certainty that love does not simply cease because a heartbeat does.
And what a woman she was.
There was steel beneath those rhinestones.
Dolly possessed an almost formidable intestinal fortitude. She came from poverty, faced rejection, endured criticism, broke barriers and built an extraordinary life on talent, determination, wit and an almost indecent amount of hard work.
She never needed to pretend to be tough.
She simply was.
And beneath all the glitter, the wigs, the sequins and the laughter was a woman who understood the profound value of loyalty.
Her love for Carl was one of those rare private things in an increasingly public world. Nearly six decades of marriage, through fame, fortune and all the peculiarities that accompany both, she remained devoted to the man she chose long before the world knew her name.
That, too, was Dolly.
A powerful woman who never needed to diminish anyone else in order to demonstrate her own strength.
A lady who never mistook elegance for pomposity. A star who somehow remained gloriously human.
A woman who could walk into a room covered in glitter and still make the person standing quietly in the corner feel seen.
And perhaps that is why the world feels so strangely empty today.
We haven’t merely lost a singer.
We have lost a storyteller.
A songwriter.
A philanthropist.
A businesswoman.
A woman of faith.
A devoted wife.
A force of nature.
An icon.
And, above all, a thoroughly decent human being.
Her songs will endure, of course. They have already become part of the soundtrack of generations. But music was only one part of what Dolly gave us.
She gave us laughter.
She gave us courage.
She gave us kindness.
She gave us hope.
She reminded us that you could be enormously successful without becoming cold, enormously wealthy without becoming selfish and enormously famous without believing yourself better than anyone else.
She spread an astonishing amount of love during her lifetime.
And now the world must learn to live without the woman who spread it.
I hope, wherever she is tonight, there is music.
I hope there are angels.
I hope there is a little Tennessee sunshine.
And I hope, with all my heart, that Carl was there to meet her.
Because after a lifetime of making the world smile, Dolly Parton deserves to be welcomed home with the greatest ovation heaven can possibly muster.
Rest peacefully, Dolly.
You were never merely America’s sweetheart.
You were loved around the world.
You were never merely a country music legend.
You were an icon.
You were never merely a famous woman.
You were a lady.
And you were never merely a star.
You were light.
Never forgotten.
Never replaced.
Forever loved.
Thank you, Dolly, for leaving the world rather brighter than you found it.
May God bless you, and keep you.
Prince William,
'You are not alone'.
We stand with you.
You have the wisdom, fortitude and strength of your beloved grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.
You have your beloved mother, Princess Diana's heart. Her compassion and resilience. You truly love the people as she did. You are putting that into action. You are hands on to get results. As Diana did e.g Landlines. The millions of lives saved because she wouldn't give up until laws were changed. They did! They are still removing them. But much less because of HER work.
You are your mother's son. Not just her physical traits and blue blue eyes but Diana's greatest attributes. Thank you for respecting your forever beautiful mother and not dining out on her legacy and memory.
You are an honorable man and a leader with integrity. You bring honor to the role as the Prince of Wales. May God continue to protect you and your family.
When the weight is great, look up, they've got you 🙌 💙❤️💞

I am in tears. President Trump issued a WARNING to EVERY School in AMERICA:
"Every public school in America is now on notice that if they tell a child that they are trapped in the wrong body, they are committing CHILD ABUSE"
AMEN 🙏
I will never forget that when Prince Phillip was in hospital, Meghan and Harry continued with their disingenuous and lack of empathy Oprah interview.
When Prince Harry’s Grandfather was dying, they were so mean and childish. At this point, I knew they didn’t have the intelligence, understanding or statesmanship to be leaders on the world stage, and Meghan’s plan was always to drag Harry to California.
Emotionally mature adults would have had conversations and dealt with issues in private as a family. But Meghan Markle didn’t care; she was out for revenge, so she sat with Lie-Oprah and orchestrated a smear campaign to attack Harry’s family because she needed an excuse as to why they left; it had to be the Royal Family and not her who was chasing Hollywood fame and money. (BTW, Harry messed up and said on Oprah that his family were very welcoming to Meghan, “my father, my brother,Kate they were all very welcoming, better than I expected”. We know he got an earful after filming)
They told so many blatant lies and purposely gave answers without context so haters of the RF would create false narratives. What was more sad is that Queen Elizabeth II had to deal with this unnecessary and unfair fallout while her beloved husband for 73 years was dying. I will never forget the nasty hashtags and content the Sussex Squad posted after this; disgusting. Most of the British public supported Harry and Meghan leaving if it was what Harry wanted and made him happy, but after that disastrous interview, the public mood soon shifted to shock and anger. A lot of people were done with the two privileged, selfish brats.
Let’s be clear: Meghan didn’t have mental health issues, she couldn’t take the lack of control, she couldn’t sue every newspaper that printed nonsense but had some truth to it, wanted to merch her connection to the RF and she couldn’t handle the high level of scrutiny or deliver the standard of responsibility that was expected from her. Doria her mother was an alleged social worker but didn’t help her 🤨, and Harry had his therapist on speed dial but didn’t help her 🤨 he even said on Oprah that he didn’t tell his family because he felt ashamed. So if the family wasn’t told, they can’t be blamed for anything; plus she had plenty of access to help if she needed or wanted it. Her fabricated story had so many holes.
The worst part of that interview is how she lied about the colour of Archie’s skin, the question that didn’t happen the way her manipulative mind painted it out to be and the Duo told a complete different story when interviewed separately that lie-Oprah didn’t pushback on. If Harry had cared for his Grandparents, he would have never done that lying interview.
What was heartbreaking is that Prince Phillip went to his grave thinking the world believed Meghan and Harry’s lies and didn’t get to the part where most of the world realised that Recollections May Vary.
When Prince Phillip died, I knew Meghan Markle was a narcissist. Harry was displaying tendencies as only a narcissistic person would continue attacking a family at this low point and have this level of lack of empathy or self awareness. They created an unnecessary media storm and then played the victim when they could have just gone and lived the private life they claimed they wanted with their millions of pounds in the bank.
Queen Elizabeth II had a broken heart, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex didn’t care. They continued to brief the media with lies, disinformation and grift off the titles HMTLQ had gifted them.
I will never forget the lead-up to the late Duke of Edinburgh’s death and what followed; words can’t comprehend the level of narcissism, disrespect and disgusting behaviour displayed by two ungrateful, spoilt and cruel cosplaying humanitarians.
Rest in peace, Prince Phillip (World War II veteran) and thank you for your 70+ years of service to our country. @DofE@WWF
