Road accidents in Namibia remain a critical crisis, with 19 lives lost during the recent long weekend alone. A catastrophic head on collision on the B1 road south of Otjiwarongo claimed 11 lives, whilst another crash on the coastal route resulted in eight fatalities. Recognising that no life is cheap, there is an urgent imperative to prevent these tragedies through comprehensive intervention, driver education, vehicle safety standards and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations. Only sustained, multifaceted prevention efforts can reverse this devastating trend and protect all road users. God serve us 🙏.
We aren’t socialized to understand the seriousness of this but it’s a decision that affects your health, your career trajectory, your socioeconomic status, etc.
Just because you like to lay in the bed with someone doesn’t mean you have to have their kid
Be wise
I noticed something about environment. When you are surrounded by broke people, it starts to feel like everyone is struggling, like the economy is collapsing and no one has money, and even if you do, you start thinking you might lose it. When you are around entrepreneurs and people who are building things, it feels like money and opportunities are everywhere, even when you personally have less. Your environment shapes what you believe is possible.
The lady who cleans our offices also sells snacks to us. It's her side hustle. Her boss just called her in and asked her to prepare 20 party packs for his kids' birthday this coming Wednesday. I'm so happy for her cause I know he's going to pay her good money. 🥹🥰😍
Also, just because you know someone professionally does NOT mean you know their full character.
People go to work and are the life of the office then go home to terrorize their family.
This obsession of posting school kids work for SM media laughs is mesmerizing. Your doctor should also post your medical reports, or your HR your payslip and I’m sure we’ll have a field day
