The announcement echoed at Gate No 40.
“IndiGo flight 6353 to Lucknow, now boarding.”
It was 04:30 AM at #Bengaluru Airport,
but the crowd felt different that evening.
No corporate rush,
No cold faces.
Just hundreds of young Indians. Millennials and Gen Z.
carrying backpacks, gifts,
and that unexplainable warmth that comes when you’re going home.
As the line formed,
I noticed the small details.
People smiling at strangers,
sharing charger ports, helping each other with cabin bags.
It wasn’t the Bengaluru efficiency
I was used to.
It was something softer.
Something that smelled of #tehzeeb.
Inside the flight,
#Lucknow was already alive.
soft “Ji bhaiya,”
“Shukriya,”
“Aap pehle”
flowing like background music.
The cabin lights dimmed,
but the warmth glowed.
Both pilots were #women,
calm and confident.
The air hostesses smiled like they understood..
this wasn’t just a flight,
it was a #homecoming.
I kept observing.
There were five kinds of travellers on board that morning:
1. 🧑💻 The Corporate Burnouts. laptops still open till takeoff,
now staring at clouds,
wondering why peace feels so rare.
2. 💑 The Long-Distance Lovers
one from Pune, one from Delhi,
meeting halfway at home,
planning to introduce each other to parents this #Diwali.
3. 🎒 The Hostel Millennials.
saving all year for one ticket,
their bags full of laundry and their hearts full of nostalgia.
4. 🧕 The Young Moms
calm yet chaotic,
holding a baby in one arm
and Diwali sweets in another,
whispering lullabies louder than the engine’s hum.
5. 🎧 The Quiet Ones
earphones in, eyes outside,
watching city lights fade as they replay childhood memories
of bursting crackers.
Somewhere mid-air, I realized.
Bengaluru gives us ambition,
but Lucknow gives us grace.
Bengaluru teaches us to run,
Lucknow reminds us to slow down
and say, “Aap pehle.”
When we landed,
there was no Chaos.
but every face carried the same expression .. Peace.
Phones buzzed,
hearts swelled.
“Land kar liya, Amma.”
“Bas aata hoon, chai chada do”
“Kitne saal baad Diwali ghar pe hogi.”
At belt number 7,
we all stood waiting for our luggage
But no one was in a hurry.
Eyes met, and silently said goodbye..
to strangers who had unknowingly shared this short journey of warmth, nostalgia, and belonging.
No words were spoken,
yet everyone understood
This was what it feels like to go home.
As I stepped out of the terminal,
the air smelled of mitti, mithai, and memories.
And I smiled.
because this wasn’t a flight from Bengaluru to Lucknow.
It was a flight from
Pressure to Peace.
From the Grind… to Grace...🪔

Just spoke to an Indian Army officer based in Kashmir who is fully aware of the details of the Pahalgam Islamic terror attack on Hindus. I have known him for many years and he reached out to me after seeing my post on Syed Adil Hussain Shah. He endorses my assessment. He also confirmed that when the responding soldiers reached the spot, the Hindu women and widows were shivering and huddled together in 2s and 3s in complete fear. None of them reported that any Muslim, Syed Adil Hussain Shah included, came to their rescue. Instead, all ponywallahs and local Kashmiri Muslims just stood around nonchalantly some even smiling at the terrified women. None, I repeat, expressed sympathy or came to their rescue. A soldier reporting to this officer who was among the first to reach the scene related that the women freaked out at the sight of the soldiers thinking they were jihadis (they were in fatigues too) that had returned to rape them. One of the women, upon realizing these are Indian Army soldiers, just turned her fearful gaze at the Kashmiri Muslim onlookers - and this soldier told the officer that "they were smiling."
I can relate to this. I have traveled in every nook and corner of Kashmir during the peak of terrorism in the early 90s. Every time a discussion on the killings of Kashmiri Pandits or armymen came up, Kashmiri Muslims always smiled. It was the most unnerving smile I had seen. It was pure evil. It still is.

I’ve walked through Pahalgam, the very place struck in the #PahalgamTerroristAttack. Nestled in the Lidder Valley of Kashmir, it is not just a landscape of mountains and rivers, it is a mosaic of cultures. Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims live side by side, crafting a quiet miracle of coexistence. That harmony, that beauty, that forward march of civilization...these are the very things that terrify the Muslim Brotherhood and their jihadist offshoots. These cowards, banned in the UAE for their extremist ties, now wear the masks of “charities” and “educational centers” in the UK. Islamic Relief, Holdco UK Properties Limited, Cambridge Education and Training Center Ltd, names that sound harmless, even noble. But scratch the surface, and you will find pipelines of terror funding, networks of hate, and praise for Hamas, the armed wing of the Muslim Brotherhood.
This is not just an assault on India. This is a war against human dignity, against cities that dare to dream of peace. It is not a clash of religions, it is a battle between those who build and those who bomb, between those who heal and those who hijack.
Pahalgam is more than a town. It is a symbol. A symbol that terrorists want to break because it represents everything they can never be. And with men like these, there is no room for dialogue. They do not speak the language of peace. They only understand justice delivered without hesitation.
@ishanagarwal24 Hey Ishan, how is the battery on Vivo? Is it better than oneplus open? Also is Vivo's after sales service in India better than oneplus?
If you are under 30 and in 30% tax bracket - just leave India.
Come back in 10-15 years (IF YOU WANT). By then you will have enough money to retire and you will be set for life.
Have kids outside. Ensure they get a better citizenship / passport. They will be set for life.
On January 6th, a friend texted me. He'd found an injured dog by a garbage dump in Bangalore. It couldn't walk, it couldn't even stand. Most of its fur was gone, it was covered in sores. He didn't have the time to help it but sent me this picture. 🧵👇🏿
The magnitude of the Delhi liquor scam explained.
- via SM
The old liquor policy of Delhi.
750ML Wholesale Price ₹166.73
Excise Duty ₹223.88
VAT ₹106.00
Retailer commission ₹33.39
MRP ₹530.00
New liquor policy of Kejriwal implemented in March 2022.
750ML Wholesale Price ₹188.41
Excise Duty ₹1.88
VAT 1% ₹1.90
Retailer Margin ₹363.27
Additional excise ₹4.54
MRP ₹560.00
Thus, in the old liquor policy, the government's earnings on a bottle was ₹329.89 while in the new liquor policy it is only ₹8.32. That is, a loss to the government of ₹321.57 per bottle from the new policy.
In the old policy, the retailer's commission was ₹33.39 whereas in the new policy the retailer's commission was ₹363.27 for a few months , i.e. profit to the retailer of ₹330.12 per bottle.
Thus, it is clear that the retailer benefits almost as much as the government suffers per bottle.
Now how did this benefit reach the manufacturer in the new policy? The manufacturers were allowed to open retail shops (which was illegal as per the rules).
Now look at the sales figures. In the old policy where the sale of liquor was 132 lakh liters per month, in the new policy, the sale of liquor per month is 245 lakh liters. To achieve this, the drinking age has been reduced to 18 years and the liquor sale time has been increased till 3 AM. Dry days have been reduced from 31 to only 3 days so that alcohol consumption is maximised.
Now you must have understood how huge a scam this is and how much money the Susu-Keju Caucus has earned, due to which the Chief Secretary had to ask the LG for a CBI investigation.
This is the condition of the AAP party which came to power with a thumping majority, claiming to eradicate corruption from politics.
