Hi everyone! I've honestly been going through a lot with my mental health this year, and this last hospitalization negatively affected my most recent paycheck. Please check out my GoFundMe to learn more about my story!

People say, “Just reach out.”
But when you’ve spent your life being shut down, ignored, or punished for having basic needs.
Reaching out feels like walking into fire.
Fucking impossible.
someone who has been mentally and emotionally abused will:
- constantly apologize
- need a lot of reassurance
- break down over small disagreements
- hide their feelings in order to not upset you
- have low self esteem because of insults
please take it easy on them
I used to think communication was a key until i realized comprehension is. You can communicate all you want with someone but if they don’t understand you or refuse to understand, communication is useless.
Trauma didn’t give me thick skin.
It gave me a nervous system that never rests.
A body that’s always waiting for the next thing to go wrong.
A mind that mistakes calm for a trap.
I’m not strong
I’m fucking exhausted.
Y’all will literally drain the niceness outta a person… and then act shocked when they stop being sweet. Ain’t nobody born mean… people get worn down, disrespected, and pushed there.
I don't need anybody in my life tolerating me. If you really don't like me or you have any doubts about me as a person, cut me off. On this route i'm going In life I need nothing but positivity and genuine love.
self-sabotage is also:
- not asking for help
- rejecting praise
- isolating yourself when hurt
- saying “yes” to everything
- putting your needs on hold
- procrastinating on important tasks
- watching too much news
- trying to be perfect
Even in friendships mind your business. If they don’t tell you, they probably don’t want you to know, or just not yet. You are not entitled to knowing what’s going on at every point in your friend’s life.
Actually, nobody likes you when you're depressed. Plain and simple. We can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment you are depressed, people start to distance themselves. They see you as negative, a burden, and someone too heavy to handle.
date sweet men. men who are calm. men who can articulate themselves. men who are soft spoken. men who are patient with you. men who respect both you and themselves . men who are kind to you. men that are gentle. men who have self control.
