We were evaluating VueJS Vs React for our new big product.
Just like most other evaluation out there React wins because of its community and support and Vue lacking in it as people like us go for React.
The perfect chicken & egg problem.
#reactjs#vuejs@evanyou
@lukevscostas@evanyou That's amazing.
We can solve problems both with react & Vue, but to start off we need to choose and in future we don't want to be in stage this X library is in React and not in Vue along with hiring, it becomes hard to hire.
@ricardovdev@evanyou The thread is not about what a react & Vue can't do and can do.
Choosing any of it is not wrong, react is just "bigger" than react in terms of community, support, libraries, hiring talent and jobs.
@evanyou@evanyou the "biggest" options comes with a lot of benefits as well.
While building a huge product those benefits really matter,
Vue is easy to start off and it's no brainier for a quick start.
But how do I choose Vue over React for my use case?
@evanyou Yes, you are right.
Just to add on more, our evaluation also included ease of hiring new developers and less time to onboard.
Is React > Vue ? The answer is React is "bigger" than Vue.
React fragmented opinions are fine when we have React experts inhouse.
