It’s offensively inaccurate, too. Many of those who incited Islamophobia and anti-migrant sentiment are highly educated Oxbridge graduates in politics and the media.

And given educational attainment is on average lower amongst British Muslims - which has everything to do with high levels of deprivation - it also insults many of those it’s supposedly designed to protect.
