In the New we’re not dealing with Abraham’s physical seed any longer.

The New is with Abraham’s spiritual seed only, both Jew and Gentile, so long as the person has the faith of Abraham, in the Seed of Abraham (Jesus!), they’re his seed.

Both Ishmael (the son of the flesh) and Isaac (the son of the promise) has to get circumcised. Because they were Abraham’s physical seed.

Both Jacob (whom God loved) and Esau (whom He hated) were circumcised. Because they were Abraham’s physical seed.

And Genesis says Adam named his wife Eve because she was “mother of all the living”.
