Goddammit I swore I last looked at my phone only a minute ago. Why did 5 minutes pass in what should have been 1???? Time dilation too much because I'm on my short evening break? WHY SCIENCE!?
Some other issues that I took some screenshots for but didn't post as a follow up to the last post: Even at maximized (as much as possible with my current hardware) the antialiasing is a bit... wanting. I can still see the "not enough AA" parts as referenced by these screenshots.
So the Dragonsword demo is out and I'm giving it a test run on my PC.
Well, with framegen I'm still hitting above 60fps with all maxed out settings I guess. Good to know.
Hopefully release will be much more forgiving on the hardware, and no issues with DX12 stability...
OK. Following up on this, for the demo I already see some issues:
Game doesn't properly save its progress state. You know this by relogging back into game to progress and it repeats the intro and map state, but some items like treasure chests do not stay. But the puzzles resets.
@mikkalmikky For me the SteamDeck hit exactly all the curiosity buttons I had for it.
Since Steam Deck other major OEMs decided they want a slice of the pie in handheld gaming, but none of them particular sparked any interest in me other than the hardware. Not so much on the software though.
@Shopnil456@GoonshinGrind While we know a "Snegurochka" mention we don't know if the Tsaritsa is THE Snegurochka. For now.
The way I see it, we still know next to nil apart from whatever in-game stuff that addresses her.
@Shopnil456@GoonshinGrind Chipping in a little on some of the lore text to help in clearing up stuff for a bit, if it helps. If this refers to a Snegurochka and Ajax, do take note that Snegurochka in the text can refer to a WHOLE race of Fae and does not simply refer to a singular individual.
