@jarredsumner Because downloading a zip is just one large blob. Git clone is not with one file. But multiple. It's same as trying to copy node_modules is slower than zipping it and copying it without high compression

@witt_mantri @IndianTechGuide Because if stability and ease to work. I know Kerala's climate. It's not stable enough and the shores and sea are often unpredictable and violent during monsoons.

Compared to that Guj is relatively stable so workers can focus on maintenance without fighting the nature.

@thdxr Depends... It does get expensive. But yeah. Often, at least for me, knowing the stupid things I type never leaves my network gives me confidence to explore new things instead of wasting tokens to test things.

@JioCare I recently moved my residence and am experiencing poor network coverage on Jio. The signal strength is -108 dBm 32 asu. And Speed tests show 3Mbps-1Mbps. Is there a way to get it fixed? I don't really want to port to another provider if possible.

@JioCare Upon asking around, others aren't using Jio because of this particular reason because they feel like paying for 5G to get 3G speed isn't worth it. Switching to 4G also has the same experience.

@matteocollina No. Node is already good and doesn't have to maintain their own fork of CPP like Bun team has to for Zig. There's more eyes so most memory leaks are already ironed out.
