@M_Australia_G_A @JaneCaro Pregnancy is a dangerous thing to go through. It could potentially kill any regular otherwise healthy person. We should have the right to not have to go through with that if we don’t want to. It shouldn’t be anyone else’s call.
Young Matilda’s U20 Women’s Asian Cup playing in a FIELD OF SNOW. Don’t ever tell me women’s sport is equal to men’s this is a joke. #afc#matildas@TheMatildas@battledinosaur
@tomcrean1938@AdeleFlood11@TracyWesterman If by “special treatment” you mean higher rates of juvenile incarceration, lower life expectancy, higher rates of infant mortality, lower rates of literacy and numeracy, lower rates of employment and higher rates of death in custody then sure you’re absolutely right.
@JennaPrice I found university really isolating. Talking it through with mum, she would remind me of services I was offered on open day. Mum never finished high school & never went to uni so she found it really helpful. I don’t know that I would have got through it without her support.
@stephaniedowric If you have a political talk show on our public broadcaster, you have to interview the leader of the opposition. She’s literally doing her job. It’s no moral argument. She’s an excellent journalist.
@B3WatermyFriend @lavosaurus I’m interested in the stats you are quoting here do you mind please referencing? Im sure others would love to have a look at it too.
@cblesing777 @lavosaurus Rather than speak FOR your wives, sisters, friends & daughters why not use your platform and your privilege to make their voices heard? Men speaking for women is the problem. A lot of nuance is lost in translation, let’s hear directly from the source.
@LukeJackson1701@lavosaurus The language here is part of the problem. Business owners seeing women as “harder to manage” because they are often left with a larger unpaid workload outside of work. Change the narrative around women being difficult just to be difficult and you might start to fix the issue.
@delmaclifton It’s ridiculously judgemental to assume only wealthy people are allowed to enjoy a beer. What is the point of giving someone a gift if you’re then going to dictate how they use that gift?
