I can’t believe he didn’t break one of his contracts so he could earn 10 Canadian dollars and subject himself to violent scrutiny from lesbians for the rest of his career
people act like i’m crazy when i say tvl should be a part of iwtv instead of its own separate show but like. are they just going to make a new show every time we change books? are we going to have 6 different shows instead of one consistent show?
theres a lot of sensitive bitches on twitter who need to remember no one is using this hell site but us. say whatever and just block ppl you dont like. the vague tweets are extremely boring
Due to escalating disruptive protests, I have decided to cancel the remainder of these lectures. This is deeply lamentable, but the disruption has undermined the academic nature of this series. Students shouldn't face bullying or harassment when attending academic events.
this discourse is proving no phone concerts should be the norm. everyones feels entitled to film even when theyve been politely told not to. concert etiquette is dead and this is the result
dare i say the phoebe discourse is a result of people feeling entitled to film anything and anyone they want in public. you are not entitled to footage of a stranger, even if you payed to be in the room.
people with real issues that need to be monitored can flash their app and practically that wont be an issue. i suspect people are making up these potential scenarios to get their phone in so they can take pics/videos anyway
it sounds harsh but if you dont want to bring proof when youve been explicitly told well in advance that its a no phones event.… i doubt a court would side with you. they gave you notice and made reasonable adjustments (its in a pouch in your custody)
as per ADA it is illegal to require documentation proof of disability in this context
there is no way I would consent to have my sensitive medical info available to anyone that isn’t my doctors.
“then don’t go”
disabled people arent burdens. we are fucking human beings.
ppl on the internet can’t actually be disabled bc i call ahead on the TRAIN sometimes if i need a ramp or assistance. calling up a venue is not ableist
everyone saying that you should contact the venue or get a doctors note....have you considered that disabled people shouldnt HAVE to do stuff like this simply to attend a concert???
