Under the leadership of Hon’ CM Dr @himantabiswa Sir, @assampolice remains committed to swift justice & a safer, stronger Assam

During the Crime Review today, it was heartening to see clear n steady gains across every major policing indicator

-Charge Sheets are up at 81.05% (47.80% in 2020, 66.71% in 2024)

-Conviction is at 26.28%, up from 5.5 % in 2020 & 22.95% last year

-Assam ranks 1st in India with 100% geo-fencing of Police Stations under PM GatiShakti–CCTNS.

-Crime Rate has fallen to 123.9, down from 349.5 in 2020, marking the steepest 5-year drop. In October 2025 it is at 109.2
