@Taylor593233908 Great story Taylor. Social media platforms really are becoming the new norm for news, both true & false news. There also seems to be a blurred line between credible journalists & influencers sharing news, which to me is concerning & we need better media literacy. #MCO335
@cmmore18 Great story. Your analysis was super thoughtful. We absolutely need credible and reliable journalists on social media. Influencers that discuss news have sparked up conversations, but we need thorough and trustworthy journalists now more than ever. #MCO335
If fake news travels halfway around the world before the truth puts it's shoes on, it's because social media gave it wings. check out my story. #MCO335 https://t.co/3txnGATlEk
Report cards are in: Since the pandemic, 4th and 8th grade reading levels have declined and math levels have stalled with little to no improvement. It's not politics, it's not opinion, it's a factual news report. #MCO335#SaveEducation https://t.co/4ZcYRVwogx
@KaylaReyez That is an interesting find. I chose TikTok for this assignment as well and there is so many policies that they have in place that I would have never even thought about. #MCO335
@goyard1012 I'm gonna be real (I could not pass up a pun i'm sorry) that is such an interesting find. Imagine deleting your account and you see one of you pictures in an ad lol #MCO335
After a good amount of reading, I've learned that if you sue TikTok (or they sue you), it has to be done in Los Angeles, California & under California law only. Meaning you can't pick any other state for court. Let's (tik) talk about it👀. #MCO335 https://t.co/8szvSPvCXm
@ShunnedTree1 Yes. My educated guess would be it makes it easier to regulate their terms of service and make their policies less flexible since it’s only California laws that apply. It’s also probably cheaper for them since their headquarters is in California as well.
