In Santa Monica at the pier there was a 100% peaceful protest happening and the cops came in, surrounded everyone, announced a 4pm curfew, and then tear gassed them. It’s 3:20. It’s not about people not “obeying.” They’ll tear gas you no matter what you’re doing.
