Additionally the campuses of both the LMU and the TUM are pretty cool to visit. The LMU mainly for the building and the TU has a cool parabole slide in it campus in Garching which is reachable by train

@Yan_Kodiac also pretty close is the Frauenkirche which is the church with the iconic roof you see on pictures of munich,
the Nymphenburg Palace has a nice sprawling park,
and lastly if you go at the end of september it is Oktoberfest time, though that is very touristy
