Here's 3 things I wished I knew before becoming a lawyer:

1. A law degree is not as globally applicable as you think it is.

2. Prepare to work long hours and even weekends.

3. Most of your friends will quit law by year 5.

You need deadlines.

They give you a goal.
They keep you in check.
They turn dreams to reality.

No deadlines, no purpose, no drive.

Do these everyday:

· Eat healthy
· Lift weights
· Read a chapter
· Meditate 10 mins
· Get enough sleep
· Build your personal brand
· Keep track of your finances

Your life will change in 10 weeks.

I get it.

- Creating online is hard.
- Audience building is hard.
- Showing up every day is hard.

You know what else is hard?

- Being dependent is hard.
- Being laid off is hard.
- Being poor is hard.

Choose your hard.

A creator should never stop consuming.

You need input to create output.

Just make sure what you consume is informative and not junk.

Your only competition is yourself.

Compete with the 'you' of yesterday and strive to:
- do 1% more
- be 1% better
- grow 1% faster

Aim to beat the person you were yesterday.

Action plan for when things get too much:

- Drop everything
- Brew a green tea
- Perform breathwork

Take a break to create more.

Never hard sell.

Educate a prospect on:
- why it exists
- why you created it
- how it’s helping them.

Make it their decision to buy.
