I don't think it works that way. It is just how you feel. Think about it this way: society did not stop progressing in mathematics when calculators came out. It's just that the human brain focused much more on the research aspect once the calculations were handled by calculators.

I'm 33 and I think Claude Code is melting my brain.

For 6 months straight I've had 5-6 terminals open at once, waiting on responses just to smash "enter" 90% of the time. That's the whole job now.

And it's doing something to me. A few friends and I keep circling back to the same thing in conversations: none of us feel as sharp as we used to.

Maybe it's just us. But I keep wondering how many other people in their 30s feel it too.

(And yeah: this is a me problem, how I lean on the tool, not the tool itself. Doesn't make the effect any less real.)

Another reset for our Codex and ChatGPT Work users. Actually hit 9M active users way earlier today, but then got distracted by the approximately millions of things the team is doing to keep the systems up and reliable.

Should have that sweet 100% weekly usage limit back in a few minutes. Go be your productive self and close twitter. Shoo!

@thsottiaux Some days my productivity goes out of bounds and works overtime and on some days its more chill. I think removal of 5h window helps me to adhere to the peak levels it has sometimes.

Killing the task halfway through is not

claude code should just let the task finish like codex does

Recently I switched to codex from Claude code. Things that made me switch:

1. The model quality of got-5.6 Sol felt better than Fable 5.
2. It is faster and more token efficient.
3. Openai is more generous than Anthropic ATP I had to switch
4. I liled the Codex UX better than CC
