Weโre announcing Sentience out of closed beta today.
Your Sentience is your digital twin. It looks, sounds, and writes like you, and it operates autonomously.
This is our first milestone in our quest towards uploaded consciousness.
I feel one of these fine days, someone is going to land on a avery good use case for AI in our local market
and I mean "really good"
early mpesa days type of "really good"
Last weekend I got bored opened Claude design and made a cool website complete with a working backend CMS... And a database with AI features but got rid of those later
Okay, I need to be stopped, I just attempted to clone uber's live map updates.
this is react native + @expo + @Mapbox
I am enjoying myself more than I should
this is crazyyy๐๐
Built a cool little app
Me: "eh, maybe 2-3 friends will test it lol"
Dashboard 3days later: 86.1K requests
Now I'm just praying it's users... and not one guy repeatedly spamming the error endpoint ๐ญ๐
(it's doing numbers tho ๐)
@StanleyMasinde_ for those building around mpesa (and basically anything that involves you getting http callback responses) feel free to try out this tool that I am working on.

6. The Icarus Effect
Tech moves fast, but flying too close to the sun burns.
AI tools should augment developers โ not replace thinking, experience, or discipline.
Hype is cool. But solid engineering still wins.

5. False Confidence
AI feels magical โ until it isnโt.
Just because the code compiles doesnโt mean itโs correct. Relying too much on AI suggestions can lead to silent failures in production.

4. Devalued Developers
If AI handles basic tasks, what happens to junior and mid-level devs?
Thereโs a real risk companies start treating them as โoptional.โ Thatโs bad for talent growth.
