To know your spirit.
To know your patterns.
To know your values.
To know your intuition.
To know your relationship with the Most High.
So deeply that nobody can hijack your discernment.
Nobody can convince you to abandon yourself.
Nobody can become your god.
Study everybody.
This shit is a marathon.
The end goal isnβt finding the perfect guru.
It isnβt finding the perfect prophet.
It isnβt finding somebody who has all the answers.
The end goal is knowledge of self. ππͺ¬
Everybody who says βI knowβ actually knows.
Sometimes the lesson is realizing you gave somebody authority they never earned.
And babyβ¦
That lesson will humble you QUICK.
Stop getting mad at the fake prophets and gurus that come like wolves in sheepβs clothing.
Discernment is part of the journey.
Everybody who sounds enlightened ainβt your teacher.
Everybody who calls themselves a prophet ainβt carrying your message.
You are allowed to question.
You are allowed to study.
You are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to say, βThat donβt resonate with my spirit.β
Your conscience belongs to YOU.
Protect it.
You need somebody to tell you what to think, who to follow, what to believe, what to fear, what to worshipβ¦
And then call that spirituality?
Baby, no.
Stop outsourcing your discernment.
Stop confusing somebody elseβs certainty with your own knowing.
Why you need a leader for EVERYTHING?
You donβt have your own discernment?
You donβt have a relationship with the Most High?
You donβt ever sit still long enough to hear what YOUR spirit is saying?
I donβt listen to none of these ningas.
I barely listen to mine.
So what make you think Iβm finna listen to yours?
Know yourself.
Know your own mind.
Know your own spirit.
Know what you believe.
Know what you heard.
Know what you witnessed.
Know what your conscience told you
Some of yβall need to understand:
Being spiritually grounded does NOT mean being easily accessible.
I can have AαΉ£αΊΉ and an attitude.
I can forgive and still block you.
I can pray for you from VERY far away.
Happy Isese Day.
May we stop romanticizing struggle.
May we stop calling dysfunction βgenerational.β
May we honor our ancestors without repeating everything they survived.
I can respect where I come from and still decide where this bloodline is going next.
That part.
Isese taught me something real:
You donβt have to chase every blessing.
Some blessings are already sitting in your bloodline waiting for you to stop self-sabotaging long enough to recognize them.
So today Iβm honoring the lineage, the lessons, the protection and the wisdom
Happy Isese Day.
I come from people who knew how to listen to the earth before somebody convinced them they needed permission to be spiritual.
The water speaks.
The trees remember.
The ancestors are not a Halloween costume.
The Orisa are not an aesthetic.
And I am not new here
