Cayla Hochberg

I am a teacher, a mother, a wife, a friend. A runner, a reader, a foodie, a writer. A dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hoper, a prayer, a magic-bean-buyer...

Hearing one of my favourite writers does this too makes me feel so much better about myself.

When I buy a book, I either begin to read it that day, or in seven years. There’s no in between.

This is precisely why @gordperks needs to be voted out in the upcoming #TorontoElection. He doesn’t care about his constituents and has said so on more than one occasion. #VoteHimOut #VoteTO

Yesterday we had to put our 15-year-old Papillon to sleep. She was the goodest girl in the world…even if she did hate all other dogs, would only let an elite few pet her, and never quite figured out that carpet wasn’t just indoor grass. Love you forever, Charlotte the Dog.🌈

[Cayla Hochberg @itscaylawithac]

@missbonniedog Biggest hug. We have to put our 15 year old papillon down today.

#RoshHashanah begins tonight at sundown. Wishing our Jewish students, staff and community a very Happy New Year! Shanah Tovah!

@clickflickca And this is coming from the girl who LOVED the dill pickle/white cheddar mashup @LaysCanada had thus summer.

[Cayla Hochberg @itscaylawithac]

@mrsmisnertdsb @FairmountPS A Cummer Vallet classic!

@cityoftoronto @TPSOperations @citynews680 spotted this huge orange cone today near the Humber bay arch. What is it?!

@Kateywrites Some other tips from a middle school English teacher: it can’t be too long, try to choose a “modern” cover, and DON’T TELL HER YOU, her mom, LIKED IT.

@311Toronto at #SirCasimirGzowskiPark and none of the toilets flush and the sinks don’t work. No signs & the toilets are full. This is so gross and unsanitary.

[Cayla Hochberg @itscaylawithac]

@MlleSexsmith @TDSB_Rawlinson Miss you already!

Update from flight #ac118. 2 1/2 hours later and were finally free! @TorontoPearson do better. @AirCanada your crew for this flight were exceptional: patient, kind, empathetic and communicating with us through the entire ordeal. They deserve a raise.

[Cayla Hochberg @itscaylawithac]

Update from flight #AC118 over 2 hrs on the plane. No updates on when we might get off. At least @AirCanada is handing out water? This is beyond unacceptable. @TorontoPearson get it together. @CityNewsTO @CTVToronto
