I have been thinking about the young lady who went to a party with friends at a home owned by one of these friends.
The young man who was found deceased and rolled up in a mat in Georgia, his death, was ruled a suicide.
About the Black people found hanging from trees and their deaths have been ruled suicides.
When does it stop? Yt America has shown us that they don't value our lives. The same people have voted against the rights of Black and POC in the last election. Think about the gutting of the Voters Right Act.
Yet, Black people continue to stand with their allies and vote for harm reduction.
Time and again, we are told to comply and just follow the law, yet time and again, Black people are killed with impunity. The justice system is known to give harsher sentences to Black people than their counterparts.
I am just tired.
