I dedicate the first month of every year to digital purging and reshaping.

PURGING:
Step 1:
Go through your twitch follows, social follows, and any other place you frequent -- you deserve a quality, personalized timeline/FYP.

Step 2:
Clean out your discords. If you haven't touched a discord for the entirety of 2023, you basically aren't in the discord anyway. "But I dont want to hurt their feelings" -- If your friendship is based on you being in their discord, it's probably not that good of a friendship. -- You deserve less notifications and clutter

Step 3:
Project files, i know -- daunting, but do it! Clean out your Canva and project places, this might also include the Downloads or Screenshots folder on your file explorer! (or make folders)

RESHAPING:
Step 1:
Update overlays, profile pictures, raid videos, About-Me sections, and any other place that shows people who you are at a quick glace

Step 2:
do a small amount of financial spending planning -- want new emotes? a new intro scene? etc. Plan out when you want it by so you can start a little budget and saving!

Step 3:
Do a small forecast for the year of your ideas and plans, either on a calendar or sticky note or whatever. Jotting down your ideas is the best way to START making them happen. (I do this on a calendar so I can properly spread out my ideas across a calendar year. It helps with planning the actual events themselves, too)
