As for an update on my time with #SynthesisInstitute, I have been one of the lucky few to have received a full refund from my bank, and I have dropped out of the program. ( thread )

My biggest concerns with the industry as it stands are its current collective dismissal of Indigenous elders ( Looking at the #MAPSConference as an example ), the greed of #BigPharma attempting to exploit this medicine, & over-regulation upon service centers.

@PsilocybinOR To my knowledge, yes. HECC office told me Synthesis had 2 options: 1) full refunds or 2) provide a teach-out option. They've clearly chosen the latter, & so HECC can only provide Oregon students prorated refunds from here.

Personal update from a Synthesis Institute student: It looks most likely that I can only get a prorated refund for my tuition (paid in full), returning me the money back for the education I have not yet received (60% in my case). #psychedelics (Cont'd)
