The politicization of transgender issues has turned my own parents against me. It has destroyed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans, as well as those in other nations suffering from the same issues. I refuse to give up, and I implore all of you to continue to fight as well.

It's exhausting. Things will get worse. But we can fight for change so that those who come 50 years after us can have the lives we dreamed of. If you decide to stay and fight...thank you.
