I took a bitcoin:native short at the 0.382 retracement marked on the chart.
My reasoning: a shallow bounce, little expansion in open interest, and a break in structure to the downside.
Crowded shorts near the lows were the main counterargument.
A trade recap, not a live call , the short still open.
Weekend $BTC is where good setups go to die.
Low liquidity, thinner order books, random wicks.
I don’t trade it.
I’d rather miss a weekend move than donate money because BTC decided to have a personality disorder on Saturday.
48 hours later: +66.74% on the $BTC short.
Entry: $85,043.
The important part isn’t the PnL. I posted the bearish thesis before the move and traded the setup when confirmation came.
Analysis first. Execution second. Result last.
