Co-host of @BTWSEA, where we talk about the #SeaKraken and #SeattleTorrent Views are my own!

[Derek @ItsDerekBTW]

So, I said on the pod this week that I would be happy with 1 point through these two gauntlet games against WPG and EDM.

The Kraken have secured all 4 points against those two teams. Still down McCann, Kakko, Evans, and Gaudreau.

Through 9 games, I am so proud of this team.

Now, I only teach 5th-grade Math, but I think the solution is “CGY = L” …

The #SeaKraken opened the 2026-27 campaign with three games against Pacific Division rivals!

How did the team look after steamrolling the Flames (twice!) and putting up a tough fight against the Oilers?

Join us on a new BTW Podcast to find out!

@pauldcronin Can only comment on what’s taken place this season 🤷‍♂️ enjoy the good times

[Derek @ItsDerekBTW]

#SeaKraken have not done overly well as winning the expected goal battles.

The two guys between the pipes have been a massive reason these games have gone the way they have.

Joey Daccord and Philipp Grubauer both start the season as Top-10 Goaltenders!

It took being demoted to the AHL for Turbo to retire the headshot gimmick.

I’m ahead of @JohnForslund … that’s Sasquatch Goal Predictions BABY

[SasquatchNHL @SasquatchNHL]

And if you're the type that checks the standings way too early... @ItsDerekBTW is in the lead with 2 points and everyone else who has scored is tied with @JohnForslund at 1 point.

A tough loss for the #SeaKraken tonight as they fall 3-1 to the #EdmontonOilers.

Bobby McMann was the lone goal scorer and Gru went 22/24 with a .917 Sv%.

HUGE positive from this game was the Kraken holding the Oilers power play to 0/3.

What were your takeaways from tonight’s game?

@SasquatchNHL BOBBY MCMANN FINAL ANSWER

[Beneath The Waves @BTWSEA]

The #SeaKraken have seriously turned this game around in the second period. They lead this period in shots 6-2, and got a goal back to tie it up. Nice to see this level of fight after going down 1-0 early!

🎵I LIKE IT🎵

PP TIME GOAL FOR BOBBY!

1-1 #SeaKraken

[Derek @ItsDerekBTW]

#SeaKraken ‘Daccord vs. Jarry,’ I like the sound of that. Maybe not the sound of ‘McDavid-Draisaitl-Podkolzin vs. any of our lines…’
