i’m so confused by the water bottle discourse because i’m in the uk and EVERYONE i know carries a reusable water bottle with them … they’re just small and fit in a bag instead of some kind of end of days survival canister
Sorry to lib out, but the reflecting pool thing has become legit funny because it’s now inevitable that they’re going to have to drain it again and redo the whole thing but it still won’t work for some easily avoidable reason. A summer story for our time
One of my old coworkers lived in Finland for a decade, and she said her outgoing, chipper personality resulted in her being almost completely isolated. So isolated in fact that she started a multicultural society for other immigrants from around the world who were experiencing the same thing. I think I would lose my mind.
Today my son and I skipped the crowds at the Louvre and went to the Musee Mineralogie Ecole des Mines instead. It was €7 for the both of us and we saw two thousand of the coolest rocks of all time and there were 4 other people there.
The fact there has not been a revolution at this point is unbelievable. The oil industry made a decision to do this and politicians and media allowed them to do it.
