רום הוא ילד שמח בן 4.

רום אוהב לצייר, לבנות דברים עם לגו ולשחק במכוניות צעצוע. במיוחד הוא אוהב את המשאיות הגדולות עם הצבעים הזוהרים האלה, שמשמיעות רעשים של מנוע כשמסיעים אותם על הרצפה.

ורום גם נלחם על חייו. בפעם השנייה.

הפעם הראשונה הייתה כשהיה בן שנה בלבד. רום התינוק החייכן אובחן בנוירובלסטומה - סרטן נדיר ואלים במיוחד.

רום נלחם באומץ, וניצח.

אבל האויב לא התייאש ועכשיו חזר, כשהוא אלים יותר ומסוכן יותר.

לרופאים בארץ אין פתרון. אבל ההורים של רום הקטן, מאיה ושגיא (רב סרן בצה"ל, אגב), הגיעו למומחים בפילדלפיה שמציעים טיפול ניסיוני אך יקר.

שלוש וחצי מיליון שקל. סכום שכמובן אי אפשר לגייס ביום אחד. הבעיה היא שעם כל יום שעובר - המצב הולך ומחמיר, והסיכויים להציל את רום הולכים ויורדים.
