@RecordingAcad Give us an Afrobeats category in the Grammy Awards because Afrobeats has earned the right to be a globally recognized category, or allow us compete directly in global pop fields, you cannot put everyone in one box with the tag of African music performance.
If there’s no Asian music, American music, Oceania music, Europe music etc award categories, then tell me why there’s an African music award category in the Grammy, I can’t seem to wrap my head around it. Why are we allowing this?
This Best African Music Performance Award category on Grammy is about what exactly? If the criteria is being African, because African music is not a genre, Are all African artists actually being considered? Because that seemed like an Afrobeats/Amapiano category to me.
Dear Nigerian Artists, I understand that there’s so much recognition that comes with getting an international award but let’s not be too quick to forget where we come from. Support your culture, support your own music awards, because that’s the only way we can get to that level.
As long as we do not have one voice in this country, nothing will change, you mean they asked you to pay 25% agency fee and you actually paid? If we don’t speak up and refuse to pay the exorbitant fee, they will continue to increase it till it gets to 40%
Agency and Legal fee is 25% in Abuja and people are paying? Where are we going in this country, very soon it will be 30% and nobody will say anything, let’s not even talk about the exorbitant caution fee and service charge! It is well.
They say one out of every five girls have been raped but I think it’s more! We need to encourage our kids (male and female) to speak up and make sure the perpetrators are brought to book! what happened to Ochanya is disheartening!

@uchejombo I just finished seeing the movie and I must really commend your performance, everything was on point, clear from the beginning that you kept trying to make yourself feel better , this is more than just a movie, it’s a masterpiece and I really hope you do more with this film .
@mikeljusty@uchejombo Alot of women are in this situation, in fact alot more than you think and it’s not as if they are not reasonable, it’s the situation they found themselves and sometimes breaking out is difficult.
Dear Fire Lord Asiwaju,
One of your supporters here that always insults those who call out the govt and your terrible leadership, and even insult people for saying the health system is bad, recently fell ill herself and couldn’t afford to purchase a pint of blood.
Unfortunately she died.
Another of your supporter who insulted people for calling out his governor to improve security and healthcare, and insulted people for calling you out to improve the country recently faced challenges of his own.
His son couldn’t get any hospital that has a simple tracheostomy tube.
Sadly his son died.
Your bad governance is killing us.
Your terrible leadership has wasted the lives of Nigerians.
Why would you steal a car when you don’t even know how to drive it?
Why did you steal an election when you have no idea what to do or how to lead?
We need a new Nigeria, a better Nigeria.
Enough is Enough.

Stop the Tribalism, it’s taking us no where, we need a government that will be accountable, starting from this government, there’s still time to rewrite past wrongs and come up with new strategies and solutions to better the country. #30daysrantchallenge
We lost everything due to bad government, our natural resources were mismanaged by greedy individuals who refused to do the right thing! No Light,No good infrastructure,No good healthcare system, No food,No Security, our people are suffering due to lack of accountability
It’s so painful to see Nigeria, a country that should flow with milk and honey, left to shambles, We’ve always had bad government, what do we do, how will Nigerians survive, our resources badly managed, our leaders greedy and selfish, Nigeria is all we have! #savenigeria
A girl came out to say her mind on how the economy and the prices of things in the market is frustrating her and the next thing she is being threatened to keep quiet, how long are we going to remain voiceless in our own country, how long do we continue like this.
Dear Nigerians, how long will we be quiet, this suffering is unbearable, Nothing is affordable anymore, We are all trying to protect ourselves and the government is now taking our silence for granted, we don’t even know where the economy is going, we don’t know the plan.
