Kenyans confuse and conflate these terms:
“Government” with “State.”
“Public” with “Government.”
Government is NOT State.
Government owns nothing; it’s the Public that owns land and other assets.
Governments come and go but the State and The Public stay.
A political party may win periodic elections and be in charge of Government for the period it’s elected or in power, but it finds and leaves the State and The Public intact.
A State may collapse or dissolve from internal strife, conquest or revolutionary configurations, but The Public doesn’t.
However, THE PUBLIC comprises of DISTINCT PEOPLE(S) and NATIONS (which are vulgarly referred to as Tribes or Ethnic Groups).
The NATIONS or PEOPLES may relocate, migrate, or rename themselves, but they are the only SOVEREIGN with true OWNERSHIP of LAND, natural resources and assets within the State.
Embrace the use of words such as PUBLIC PROPERTY, PUBLIC LAND, and PUBLIC OFFICE—not government property, government land and government office. The former are words of empowerment and affirmation while the latter represents a deeply colonized language and world view.
As a teenager, I was taught the basic principles of philosophy by Professor Odera-Oruka. He taught us that even if you forget everything else he had taught, remember that the role of a philosopher is to QUESTION EVERYTHING—and that societies which have not questioned everything have historically lagged behind those that did—in civilization, technological development and the improvement of the human condition.
So, stop complaining when some of us question everything. We do so to improve the human condition—and we shall never stop.
All males are naturally polygamous, women are designed to be monogamous in nature. Society will always lose respect to a woman that keeps on spreading her legs for different men. Malaya refers to women who sleeps around, hakuna mwanaume Malaya. Stay Guided!!
We can’t treat President Ruto like a miracle worker. He has a job to do, yes — but no mortal is fixing six decades of national problems in a single term. Our expectations need to be realistic, not messianic.
It's okay to support Sifuna. It's okay to support Gachagua. It's okay to support Ruto. Why the hate and insults toward each other? It's okay to engage in banter, but becoming overly emotional while defending someone who has no interest in your well-being is utterly diabolical.
Based on the new Linda Mwananchi signings, the truth is that none of these politicians has the genuine concerns of Kenyans at heart. Kila mtu achague tu side yake alafu tungoje kuimba tena Must Go from 2029.
The next person who wants to lead this country needs to stop telling Kenyans they have a plan. We are tired of hearing about plans. You already know the problems!!
Odious debt, corruption, a broken education system, a struggling health sector, unemployment and the high cost of living and so much more. None of these issues are new. Tell us exactly what you are going to do about them.
Kenyans don’t need another campaign built on slogans and promises. We need specifics, timelines and accountability. Anyone asking for our vote should first tell us, in detail, how they intend to fix this country. We already know the problems. What we’re waiting for are the solutions.
This business of saying, “We’re meeting, we’re consulting, we’ll unveil our agenda when the time is right,” is not going to work anymore. The time is now. Tell Kenyans how you will deal with the debt, what laws you will change to fight corruption, how you will fix public hospitals, what reforms you will make to education, where the money will come from, what you will cut and what you will prioritise.
WANTAM!!
If you go to an international school and see how they live there, you will end up crying . Theres a very big gap between what is taught in polling station schools and what is taught here. Huku international school ata hawajali kuhusu hiyo mamtihani ya ughasia. Actually,These kids are majorly being taught lifeskill skills. How to communicate, how to think outside the box,how to question and most importantly, how to be confident. These kids are being taught how to be CEOs and founders bwana, ndio maana ata hawafanyangi KCSE
Polling station nayo niya kufunzwa submission. How to be a slave. Yani unaamka saa tisa usiku kusomea jesma, asubuhi ukunywe uji imepikwa na unga ya ugali, saa tano chai inakaa mkojo ya punda, saa saba githeri imejaa kumbi kumbi, woi mungu wangu. And you’re not supposed to question this, ukilalamika ni suspension mara iyo.
Unajua mnaonanga hii kijana inaitwa onyango tate ikiongelea mambo ya matrix mnaona kama imevuruta bangi. All these things have been planned bwana. Wale tulikua tunaamka saa tisa kusoma, sahii tunaamka saa kumi na moja kupanga line ya super metro. Wale wa international school wako kwa kitanda, wanafikiria the next business they want to venture. Mama yangu! Dj,hebu chesa I am a slave by lucky dube na usiweke chiki chiki
Petition to add the word "UDA " as a slang for a thief . Uses In a sentence , yule jamaa kumbe alikua UDA na venye alikua anasema yeye hufanya online writing, Ako kamiti saa hii..
Lakini mungu naye jameni. Yani the king of kings, commanders of all generals, aliangalia namna hii, akaona kweli the only way, anaweza leta kijana yake atuokoe,ni kwa njia ya bibi ya wenyewe, bibi ya Yusuf. Kuna vitu ingine ukifikiria unapata huzuni sana bwana. Na ujue ata Yusuf hakuombwa ruhusa, malaika alitokelezea tu akamwambia ajitayarishe, commander anakuja kutengenesa kwelo wake friday. Ndio nasemanga hakuna kitu mbaya kama umaskini, utadharaoliwa akianani
Joseph si alikua fundi wa mbao. Yani ugongewe, alafu baba mtoto ata hakulipii maternity, ata hakuletei customer wanunue viti,ni kukugongea tu na anarudi kwake anakuachia majukumu, mtoto anazaliwa kwa cattle dip. Can you imagine the depression that hit Joseph bwana. Alafu ata huwezi chapa mtoto akiwa kichwa ngumu, unajua unawesa gusa yeye slap namna hii akuitishie radi bwana. Eih! Nyasaye yawa!
😂The definition of being clueless, incompetent and visionless. These are silly soundbites. Reducing fuel price by Shs. 10 (if the gullible believes it’s possible), is NOT what Kenyans deserve. Kenyans deserve to know the vision, ideology and policies of anyone seeking public office. Stating that you will raid public coffers to “refund” donations made to your campaign is itself a confession of corruption and intention to abuse public office. Most Kenyans want the system overhauled and corruption and abuse of public office eliminated. Not these churlish pronouncements!
When someone says “You’ve been in the UK 🇬🇧 where the systems work and you should be championing for a better country not TUTAM” I just wonder if we truly think Kenya is the way it is because of a leader who’s been in for 3.5 years.
Kenya is where is it because of collective rottenness spanning decades from both leaders and citizens.
You land in JKIA and you smell decay from Police who wants to “fasten” your clearance, a cab driver that charges you 5k to Olesereni, hundreds of drivers who deliberately ignore round about right hand rule and endangering their lives every minute and not mentioning closed windows because you’re afraid your phone will disappear in seconds.
I am not a hope peddler and I reject to shift blame. We’ve had scholars who have benchmarked life in first world countries but have you given them a chance? How many times has Miguna Miguna attempted to vie unsuccessfully? Do you think David Ndii learnt nothing worth emulating from Oxford? We are just bunch of pretenders who shift blame year in, year out. Your cousin who got an unmerited job, did you speak about it? Do we speak about express road when it is clearly a family property and a division of bourgeois and the poor?
Kenya is our collective problem. Many including I have reached a point where all we need is average stability and absence of war. The rest, we can manage. Let’s pick sides until the day we learn to vote in our best not our average

How Politics should be done:
Person A: I am TUTAM
Person B: I am WANTAM
Person A: I respect your choice. Go mobilize and persuade more people to buy into your agenda. Tupatane kwa debe.
Person B: Sawa
How It's Done in Kenya:
Person A: I am TUTAM
Person B: You are a fool. Dinywa. Shida yako ni njaa. Hata mama yako huwa haogi. Let me block you.
Why do Kenyan judges and magistrates take “summer vacations” when there is no summer in Kenya?
Even in jurisdictions where there is summer, there is no summer vacation for all judicial officers. The only people who take summer vacations are those whose earned vacations fall during a summer month and rarely do vacations last for more than 30 days. All courts run efficiently on full schedule throughout the year.
Abolish the foolish colonial hangover called summer vacations in Kenya! You are wasting a lot of time and resources and undermining the course of justice!

Sign language, metaphorically, is the use of words, phrases, or performative statements whose primary goal is to signal moral, social or intellectual superiority, shame the other person, and either shut down or derail logical discussions. Instead of engaging with evidence, logic, facts, empiricism, the speaker demonstrates their superiority while mudslinging the other person into defensiveness or silence.
Once you find yourself engaging with an individual (narcissists) and the conversation shifts into sign language, the best response is absolute contempt. For example, if you're breaking up with your girlfriend of 3 years and she immediately starts shouting how you have a small dick and lasts 6 seconds to a cheering audience, no amount of explanation or demonstrations can absolve you to that audience. That applies to conversations that shift to circumcision, body-shaming, or shaming spouses and family. Emotions cannot be reasoned with, they can only be manipulated or IGNORED in totality.
Bedroom politics of married people is alot like Kenyan politics . One one side you have a woman who wants to be begged and wooed to do a job that she applied and got . She will try and reward you with something she is supposed to be doing, just like mps giving out bursaries. When you dnt meet her expectations she will punish you by withdrawing services.
On the other hand a husband will go to campaign outside his constituency and make promises that he doesn't keep at home , just like we saw in olkarau . While he promises diplomacy he will turn into a full fledged goon often throwing a tantrum ,coming home in the morning drunk and refusing to entertain his constituents . His CDF office on karachuonyo will not see him and he will spend more time in his new offices at bunge towers .
Siasa mbaya maisha mbaya.
