Powerful message by the Pastor at Assemblies of God today. She committed to praying for the @gpgSocDev because her congregation understands the crucial role our department has in alleviating poverty in our communities.

[Morakane Mosupyoe @Morakane_]

We are grateful that Pastor Ndala Pule hosted the @gpgSocDev today. I especially appreciate that women leaders are at the forefront of this church that is working hard with the DSD to change the lives of the marginalised and vulnerable.

Her message today was, “Arise and Shine”

[Feziwe @ItsFeziwe]

Changing the lives of the marginalised and vulnerable is what I love the most about the Department of Social Development. #GrowingGautengTogether

The @gpgSocDev has just arrived at International Assemblies of God in Mamelodi to observe International Day of Families. We are currently in a briefing with the church leaders and afterwards we will attend the church service . #GrowingGautengTogether

Tomorrow the @gpgSocDev will visit the Home Upliftment Project Shelter for its annual International Day of Families to promote healthy and stable families in our communities.

Let’s stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Their fight for self determination is ours too. This is our responsibility as a country that defeated apartheid, we never did it on our own, international solidarity was key in our struggle #freepalastine @GautengANC
