Growing up in a humble home, there were many things I blamed my father for.

At that time, I didn’t understand him. I didn’t understand his silence. I didn’t understand his decisions. I didn’t understand why he couldn’t give more.

He would always look at me and say, “Chidi nwam, don’t worry. You may not understand now, but one day you will.”

Back then, those words meant nothing to me.

One day, I walked in on him crying. He didn’t know I had been standing there for almost two minutes. When he finally noticed me, he quickly wiped his tears and straightened up. He acted strong. As if nothing happened.

That was the first time I realized my father was not just “Daddy.”
He was a man. A human being. Fighting battles I knew nothing about.

Now I am older. And everything he said makes sense.

I see the pressure.
I see the sacrifices.
I see the sleepless nights.
I see the quiet pain he carried so we would not feel it.

He worked tirelessly to give me the best education he could afford. Not the best in the world but the best within his power. And he gave it with pride.

Today, I understand that he was also living life for the first time. He had no manual. No guide. Just responsibilities. Just love. Just pressure.

I am lucky he is still alive. That alone is a gift.

Now I have the opportunity to give back. To make sure he lacks nothing. To make his remaining years peaceful and full of comfort.

I pray God keeps this man alive and healthy for me. He truly deserves the best.

It is not easy to be a man.

Fathers often provide quietly. They fight battles outside so the family can sleep peacefully inside. Sometimes, mothers are the visible nurturers, and fathers are the silent warriors. But that does not mean he did not sacrifice.

If you have fallen out with your father while growing up, please go and make peace. Go and apologize. Go and hug him while you still can.

Many fathers are fighting for their families in ways their children may never fully see.

One day, you will understand.

🚨 Amidst all the recent FUD flying on the TL against @cz_binance and @binance, as well as the accusations by @tenten19901107 against @justinsuntron (CEO of the #TRON network), instead of taking sides, or complaining about the situation of the market, you should be learning.

👇 Below are some very important lessons to take from this:

1. Most of the people speaking against #CZ were once very close to him.

📌 Whether the rumors are true or not, the public easily believes stories told by people who are perceived to have been close to you, except a few who really care and are diligent enough to DYOR.

🔸 This is why your inner circle should be very tight—accessible only to a few who have earned that trust over time.

🔸 Even within your circle, avoid sharing information that can later be used as a weapon against you.

📍 Human loyalty can shift with circumstances, and when it does, most people won’t just walk away—they’ll try to destroy the bowl they once fed from.
