Jan Koenig

I build Shopify stores. Then tools that do my boring work. More time for life.
Road to $10k MRR with my apps, in public.

Solo builder from Germany 🇩🇪

Looking to connect with more founders, builders & indie hackers.

Let's grow together?

@BattMatter Doing my best ^^

Yesterday I was at 96 followers.

Now I'm at 173. I replied to every comment and asked people what they're building.

Got some great answers, like a closet app, a score sheet for board game nights, AI bedtime stories and lots more.

Let's see if we can get to 200. If we haven't talked yet, what are you working on? 👇

Hey builders 👋

Went from 60 to 96 followers this week, just by talking to people instead of posting into the void. Are you in the screenshot? 👀

@rashem48 Hey Rashem, Grüße from Hamburg 👋 Saw invobis in your bio, so we're neighbors in invoicing land too. Is it aimed at freelancers or a different crowd?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@tinys7udio Thanks! Respect for the night shifts 😅 Is the fitness app separate from Petriplot?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@aymanemsi Hey Aymane, happy to connect! What kind of marketing systems are you building right now?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@chad_stanz Hey Chad, plenty of good apps started as one person and an ugly prototype.

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@mustaphaDevFS Deal, Kasim. Five products in one bio, which one gets most of your time right now?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@jamin_ow Thanks Benjamin!

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@LeoKoesters Hey Leo, Grüße nach Köln 👋 Which language pairs get the most requests so far?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@SapnilBhat2309 Cheers from Hamburg, Sapnil 🇬🇧 For Paperclock I hope it's hours turning into an invoice without retyping anything. Which SaaS are you finding CMF for?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@LoudEgg Fair enough, both get the job done. I just like having less to babysit. Have an eggcellent week Joe 🥚

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@QuantroveAI Not yet, still testing it on my own client work. A lock screen timer is a nice idea though, noted ⏱️

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@dinocorreia09 Congrats on the launch, Dino! What's the most surprising feedback someone left through it so far?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@0x3Matt @bot Same setup here. At some point I'll just be the guy approving PRs from my phone.

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@diodo_e Hi @diodo_e , happy to connect!

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@LoudEgg For client stores, yes. No plugin updates or hosting breaking at 2am, so fewer things crack 🥚 Do you still see a lot of Woo out there?

[Jan Koenig @itsjankoenig]

@Im_IrushiK Mine went up too, but nowhere near 47%. Wondering if it's plugins or long sessions eating yours.
