Haven't shared this with anyone so far.
I turned down a 100+ crore acquisition offer for WebVeda last month.
On paper it was free money and an easy exit.
I said no in 4 minutes.
Not because I am brave.
Because the founder told me he would double the price to 3,999 in year one.
WebVeda exists so a kid in Kanpur earning 18,000 a month can afford to learn.
The day that stops being true, the company has no reason to exist.
100 crores is a lot.
A broken promise costs more.
PS: Please don't ask me details about the deal. Both of us decided not to share any details - I am respecting my side of the promise.
@ShruTivishnoii Depends on the volume. If the volume is good (even 2000 monthly works) ship directly through Bluedart/Delhivery, you'll get better rates than aggregators.
If volume is below 2000 ship with aggregators.
@sarkarstix The brutal truth is, in sports journalism, (to be frank, I won't call it journalism, it's just content creation) your "skills" don't matter, the only thing which matters is how much can you engage your audience. And she does that just fine.
It's actually very simple in most cases. 75% of Indians are Vitamin-B deficient. Vitamin B deficiency causes hair fall.
Pro tip: Always buy from a local pharmacy. E-commerce platforms are only allowed to sell a maintenance dose ( max 100% RDA) and not a therapeutic dose (the one you need to fix deficiency).
Hard water is also another major factor. Fix these two before taking any medicines etc.
Your brain is collecting things you can't see.
- Mercury from old fillings, fish, and other sources.
- Lead from old paint, old pipes, and decades of leaded fuel still sitting in the soil.
- Aluminum from geoengineering, antiperspirants, and processed foods.
- Cadmium from cigarette smoke, contaminated water, and industrial emissions.
These metals don't pass through.
They bind to brain tissue. They sit there. They accumulate quietly for decades.
Research published across multiple peer-reviewed journals has documented what they do once they're inside:
- Disrupt neurotransmitter function
- Trigger oxidative stress and neuroinflammation
- Interfere with celluar energy production
- Promote protein misfolding linked to neurodegenerative disease
- Replace essential minerals like zinc, magnesium, and iron in critical enzymes
The symptoms most people blame on aging:
1. Brain fog
2. Mood swings
3. Memory slips
4. Word-finding trouble
5. Tremors or restlessness
6. Anxiety with no clear cause
7. Fatigue that sleep doesn't fix
A 2025 narrative review in Healthspan summarized the link clearly:
Chronic exposure to mercury, lead, aluminum, arsenic, and cadmium is associated with the development of neurological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases.
The body has its own clearing system. But it needs the right inputs to run.
What supports it:
- Healthy gut bacteria (they bind metals before absorption)
- Sulfur-rich foods (garlic, onions, cruciferous vegetables)
- Adequate glutathione (your master antioxidant)
- Sweating regularly (sauna, exercise, sun)
- Cilantro and chlorella
- Clean water
What slows it down:
Constipation
Chronic stress
Liver congestion
Nutrient deficiencies (zinc, magnesium, selenium)
I've spent 30 years learning that most "mystery" symptoms aren't mysteries.
They're signals.
Comment METALS and I'll send you a free copy of my book including the chapter on detoxification protocols I've used and shared for decades.
P.S. You MUST follow me first so I can DM you.
@sugardaadi@rooftopsodapop Hey, we're opening a store with clean-labelled products only later next month. Actively looking for such products. Would be happy to place a bulk order if things work out. Would love to connect.
From what I have seen, Indian D2C still relies heavily on meta and there's little attention paid to after sales/ post purchase strategies and customer retention.
I have not seen any Indian D2C brand with a good sales team, and I have tried most of them. 99% of them don't even make a review call. Only a couple did, but with poor script and no objection handling.
Because of our category ( super low margins), we could not run any meta ads whatsever. So, we had to be efficient from day one. So we called our every one of customers and it helped us build a good team and a good customer base.
So to answer your question yes, you might be a little early because Indian D2C brands have not reached that stage of sophistication.
