Today, we were honoured to host Chargé d'Affaires Kenya Susan M. Burns, for an insightful and inspiring visit to Swahilipot Hub Foundation. Her tour of the Hub offered a firsthand look at our vibrant ecosystem of creativity, innovation, and youth-driven solutions that continue to shape the future of our community.

The highlight of the day was a dynamic fireside chat with Ambassador Burns, expertly moderated by Chief Mentor Mahmoud Noor , where young people engaged in meaningful dialogue on leadership, opportunities for collaboration, and the role of youth in driving sustainable development. The session created a rare and valuable space for open discussion, allowing participants to ask questions directly and gain wisdom from the ambassador’s experience.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Ambassador Burns for taking the time to connect with our community and for reaffirming the importance of empowering young innovators across the region.

Exciting news from Swahilipothub! Our tech team hit a major milestone at the Blue Economy Innovation and Investment Summit @Sote_Hub in Nyali. On November 2nd, we delivered our final presentation, and it was truly remarkable. We're thrilled to have conquered the CTF (Capture the Flag) challenge during the hackathons on October 28th and 29th, showcasing our cybersecurity expertise.

The summit brought together top names, including H.E. Katarína Žuffa Leligdonov, Ambassador of Slovakia to Kenya, our Chief Mentor Mr. Mahmoud Noor, and Ms. Charlene Ruto among others. This event was a hotbed of innovation and collaboration in the Blue Economy sector.

We soaked up cybersecurity wisdom, networked with pros, and expanded our horizons. Our success was a team effort, and we couldn't be prouder of what we achieved.
