In the oral cavity & stomach, B12 binds to HAPTOCORRIN (HC/TC1) via salivary gland & gastric epithelial cell secretion.

In the duodenum, B12 binds to INTRISIC FACTOR via parietal cell secretion

In the plasma, B12 is carried by transcobalamin II (TC2)
