Bit of fun reading on a Monday morning #SaintsFC

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

🚨🔴 Jason Wilcox has resigned from Southampton — he’s set to join Manchester United as new technical director!

Southampton refuse to accept fee so Wilcox will resign as he wants to join Man United project.

Former Man City Head of Academy will be key part of Man United new era.

@SouthamptonFC Looks at how attentive he is to that young mascot. Completely engaged in what they’re saying. Just b4 leading the team out to the hardest game of the season so far. A great club captain. I always think about the video after the playoff win. Celebrated like one of us #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@lauriewhitwell You lot deserve this. Sneering at Bournemouth on your podcast, laughing at the stadium. You deserve everything you get

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@AlfieHouseEcho If it makes you feel better Alfie, I have to find a bar in Marmaris to watch it in 26 degree heat 😂

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

That’s been incredibly poor today. People will say about the hand ball and that’s correct, but missed chances, poor set up and a lack of intensity has caused that #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

That’s about as bad a decision as you’re likely to see #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Frustrating half that has been in part caused by saints being over complicated. We’ve looked brighter since Leo went wide but we need to do more. Missing some dynamism in CM. #SaintFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Leo playing central with Fellows left and Azaz right. Interesting #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Saturday won’t be easy but this is a huge chance to get a 9 point week. That’s something that really pushed up up the league towards the end of last season. WHU playing Swansea too so there’s a chance to close a gap there. #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@AlfieHouseEcho He’s absolutely brilliant. Energy, initiates the press which usually results in him winning back position, unbelievable engine on him. He’s got straight in at a top club.

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Back to back 1-0’s. Excellent result this evening. JWP MOTM for me. I know he should have scored but Jander was brilliant too. Hopefully a win on Saturday to make it a 9 point week. #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Love Matsuki #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@DanJHargraves Tonda mentioned before about wanting additional height in defence so I’m guessing that’s the deciding factor

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Get this man a new contract and the armband when Jacks not playing #SaintsFC

[ITV Football @itvfootball]

"It's a clean slate now" 🧹

Southampton's Flynn Downes tells Katie Shanahan what the South Coast derby win means to the Saints following a tough week for the club 🔴⚪️

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

I think we took 10-15 mins to get used to the more narrow midfield, once we did we’ve been the much better team. The red card hands them a leveller but we should be able to hopefully counterattack and pick them off #saintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

That a 4-3-3? #SaintsFC

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

Up the scum🙌 #SaintsFC

[Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC]

Just don't think you understand 🎶

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@SouthamptonFC New contract required now

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@henrywinter your reporting and commentary of this situation compared to your moral outrage with Tonda is hilarious. Utter hypocrite

[Lew Collins @itslewco]

@henrywinter Cheating is cheating right Henry? After all, you were apoplectic with rage when Saints cheated?
