@favdickinson A heartbreaking cathartic moment. It’s the breakthrough in the film where here’s a man who genuinely cares for her despite everything he knows about her. Sex is all she knows and then for him to hold her like that while she cries was even more intimate than having sex

@zoerosebryant This scene was so unexpected and moving. To so many fans who were kids back in the day like myself and are now adults, to see this side of these beloved characters was absolutely beautiful 🥹
nearly moves me to tears that something as witty, poignant, and lovingly crafted as coyote vs. acme was almost erased entirely. the idea of the write-off alone was abhorrent enough, but the true tragedy is unveiled after seeing the full film. a timeless tribute to perseverance.
And that’s it for me for #Telluride2026

@meganlachinski I read some great things about Tender Loving Care especially if it is indeed Mike Leigh’s final film. Also, along with the success of Widow’s Bay, Kate O’Flynn is having a great year
Betty was my classmate in undergrad. She was a theater major, I wasn’t. We had 1 set of elevators to take us from the dorms to our classes. I remember her daily getting on the elevator and consistently reading a play. She understood it was about the work. No one deserves it more.
