The climactic car chase of ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER is so sooo good! It’s crazy because you feel you have seen all kinds of car chases over the years, wondering if there are any new ways left to film one, and then you see a filmmaker create something unique out of an overdone movie element like CAR CHASE, it’s damn inspiring. I hope every young and aspiring filmmaker working today finds some inspiration in it. Not the kind of inspiration that lures them into imitation, but to be reminded that there are still ways to create something newer, even in spaces that are deemed to offer little scope for invention.
