@bettrbots @GronkWiz @bettrbots I'm in your DMs -- lmk if you need any help with your RMI.
Once you submit your missing business info, it takes our team an avg of 30 minutes from time of submission to review and clear.
Hey @etherKairo can you DM me or @whop_support ?
We hold reserves to protect accounts from potential disputes or high-risk transactions, and we shut down any accounts that have proven fraudulent activity.
If you have any questions about your account, please reach out! We want to help (your DMs are turned off)
We spent 4 years building a payments network for the new internet.
Entrepreneurs now earn $3.3B annually on Whop. Millions of people are clipping, labeling data, deploying agents, and starting businesses to get paid.
Today we're opening Whop Payments Network to everyone.
@etherKairo@whop Hey @etherKairo -- any account holds are to protect against a high-risk flag we've gotten.
DMing you to make sure you understand what exactly happened here and how to get everything resolved.
We are excited to announce that @tether, the largest stablecoin company in the world, is making a strategic investment of $200M into Whop, valuing us at $1.6B.
Our partnership with Tether marks a major step in building the world's largest internet market. Tether is committed to enabling everyone in the world to participate in the new internet economy. The way humans work and create value is changing fast. The world needs both an open internet market giving people a platform to conduct business, as well as a transparent payments network.
Tether and Whop together will work to bring a sustainable income to billions of people throughout the world. There is enormous opportunity when you combine Tether’s global scale and wallet technology with Whop’s community of next generation entrepreneurs.
My co-founders and I met as teenagers on the internet selling software. We first launched Whop as a way for us to sell our own software to people in Facebook and Discord forums. Prior to Whop, the place we found customers was different from the place we collected payments, different from the place we talked to customers, and there wasn’t a central place to “do business” on the internet.
In partnership with Tether, we will be scaling infrastructure in real-time for new business models as they emerge across the globe.
The job is just getting started.
🚀
@zach_sndr@whop Hey, this refund was fully processed on Jan 26.
Please see DMs for specific card information so we can help you locate these funds on your end - payment was returned to original payment method.
Hey @amirpettiford - reposting here for visibility.
Your account is not "closed". Your funds are being held in reserve to protect your customers and make sure they receive what they've paid for.
2 Resolution Center cases from unhappy customers have already come in claiming that they received no details around shipping or fulfillment.
Your website (https://t.co/Ca4OtNlP1A) and proof of fulfillment was not sufficient evidence of credible business.
That said, reserves are temporary!! As long as your customers receive what they've ordered, that will be visible to us and your reserves will be removed. If for any reason services aren't fulfilled, those reserves will be used to pay off disputes.
If you are a legitimate business, these temporary reserves should cause no concern.
Hey @amirpettiford - I'm Head of trust at Whop and am happy to explain what's going on here. Your account is not "closed". Your funds are being held in reserve to protect your customers and make sure they receive what they've paid for.

I only move to DMs when I need to discuss sensitive personal or payment information - doesn't belong publicly on the internet :) . Happy to share any discussions beyond that.
We always can refund funds to the original payment method, and have done so here. The $1,030.00 has been returned to the original card used to top up, and you will see this amount in a few days.
The Whop was originally flagged for unsupported content related to OnlyFans agencies. That said, your other whops and your personal account are fully active, and you're more than welcome to process and pay out funds without any issues
Always more than happy to provide additional clarity if there's ever any confusion or you need help!
We're excited to announce Whop is now the official payments network for Ohana.
Now anyone can sublease their apartment, earn money & collect rent through whop.
