“I get on my knees and pray - we don’t get fooled again”. The Who. I think it is too late for some 70 billion Americans but there is always time to correct. 🕊
I am utterly ashamed.
I am utterly ashamed that the US has stopped any help to Ukraine. We promised Ukrainians that if they give up their nuclear weapons we will guarantee their sovereignty. We made it official and called it the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. But when Ukrainian sovereignty came under attack in 2014, we did nothing. Just as we are doing nothing today to stop the russian aggression.
I am utterly ashamed of the US president – a man who not only refused to help Ukraine survive, but openly sided with war criminal Putin. Since Trump took office, russia has exponentially increased its missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities and civilians. Trump gave them silent permission.
I am utterly ashamed of those who voted for Trump, and especially those who still, after all the lies and betrayals, continue to cheer him on. I find such behavior despicable and morally bankrupt.
Finally, I am utterly ashamed of everyone who remains silently complicit in this genocide. People who claim that they are "neutral." The time of judgment will come – whether in this life or eternity. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer said: "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil; God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act."
Happy birthday, @BarackObama! 65 never looked better. Every day, you make me a better person, and I’m thankful for all the ways you show up for our family and our country. Love you. ❤️
Ukraine 🇺🇦 is in a bad situation, they haven’t been able to shoot down any Iskander-M or Zircon missiles launched at Kyiv because they have no PAC-3 interceptors
Putin is striking Kyiv with all the ballistics he can the past two weeks. All thanks to Trump for abandoning Ukraine!
@DakdaR22@JesperHolst3 She’s right. russia made the mistake of invading Ukraine. The people of russia continue to make the mistake of keeping their bunker goblin in power. They own this.
- Elina Valtonen- Foreign Minister of Finland:
"NATO is an alliance for defence. It is not there to threaten Russia or anybody else. Finland is not a threat to Russia, not as a NATO member, and obviously not before.
No one from outside is threatening Russia or its territory. Instead, Russia sees obstacles to its own expansionist ambitions. The greatest threat to Russia is Russia itself and the Russian idea"
She is great..
Absolutely corectly

Vitalina Yarovenko, 20-year-old volunteer, was killed by the Russian attack on Kyiv on August 1 as she was saving people after the first wave of Russian strikes.
Vitalina was a fourth-year psychology student at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She was also an instructor at the Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachnyi Military Training Center and worked for the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.
"She was one of those people who never hesitated to help others, who taught not with words but by personal example, and who always chose to be where her help was needed most," the university said.
On the night of August 1, while serving with a medical battalion on Kyiv's left bank, Vitalina arrived to the scene of a Russian missile strike to help the wounded.
Vitalina was killed by a second missile strike while saving the lives of others.
"I cannot put this pain into words. Nor can I describe everything she accomplished for our country at just 20 years old. She saved lives, taught others, and was preparing to defend Kyiv. This should never have happened," her mother wrote.
May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Vitalina's family and loved ones.

Of course, we see every leader and every country that responds to Russia’s strikes on Ukraine. But the only strong and just response – the one that truly achieves its goal and helps people – is additional support for our state. The world has Patriot missiles. What matters now is for our partners to make the political decision to provide the necessary packages. The United States knows what we need. Europe knows what we need. Anti-ballistic missiles must protect people – not sit in stockpiles. And every day without this vital assistance gives Russia another chance to kill our people.
And right now, the response must also include additional and real sanctions. Every legal entity, every individual helping enterprises in Russia produce ballistic weapons – launchers and missiles – or supplying components and everything else they need – must all be sanctioned, not only by us, but by our partners as well. There are still gaps in the G7 jurisdictions. The fuel sector – everything helping Russia restore its oil refining capacity right now – must absolutely be stopped.
Trump's decision to renege on his recent promise to Zelensky to send Patriot interceptor missiles to Ukraine cannot be normalized by the media. It must be condemned in the strongest terms.. Trump and his inner cabinet of Vance, Hegseth, Rubio and Blanche must be held accountable.
It's not you. The bill went up. The portion went down.
The package got smaller. The quality dropped.
The cheap brands got expensive.
The expensive brands got unaffordable.
The store brand became the only option.
And then the store brand went up too.
Every trick that existed to make the grocery bill manageable.
Has been systematically closed off.
One by one. Quarter by quarter.
While wages grew 3.8% and grocery prices grew faster.
Since last night, response efforts have been underway in Kyiv and the surrounding region following Russia’s strike. There were numerous fires across the city. Seven districts were affected, and, as usual, the Russians struck ordinary residential buildings. Eighteen residential buildings, a school, the Lithuanian Embassy, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. As of now, nine people have been reported killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. Medical teams are helping everyone who needs it.
Overnight, the Russians launched 35 missiles at Ukraine, including 27 ballistic missiles, as well as 185 attack drones of various types. Kyiv was the primary target, but strikes also hit the Dnipro, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions. Only one ballistic missile was intercepted, simply because there are no interceptors for the Patriot systems. And it is this shortage of ballistic missile interceptors that only encourages Russia to launch such attacks that take human lives.
It is critical that partners hear that these capabilities are needed not somewhere in stockpiles for hypothetical scenarios, but here and now, to contain and stop the Russian war in Ukraine. Every package of ballistic missile interceptors saves the lives of our people. And every night without them results in more casualties. I thank everyone who is working to strengthen our defenses.
@madrid_mike If they made the connection to inflation, ie, that when someone is skimming a percent or 2 or 3 off the top, shaking down businesses, that has to be passed on to someone. Corruption is not sole cause, but a contributing factor along with tariffs and Iran War.
