[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

The Webster-Ashburton Treaty was one of my greatest accomplishments #solvedborderissues #GBANDUS #neutrality that's how u avoid war

@jamespolk1840 NO Texas is huge and the nation will just be way more split. #justthink #uhavenoexperience

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

@harrison_pres it's funny how you insult my clothing because you know I did a grand job as pres. #uhavenocomebacks

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

I became pres at a controversial time w/ the annexation of Texas. I did not support it because it is too big of a territory to have slaves

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

More and more people are being able to vote now, not just land owning men, so #voteforme

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

@jamespolk1840 i hate the Whigs. All they do is criticize. When are they actually going to make a change?

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

The Whigs, once again, tried to get in my way by saying the Removal Acts were "immoral". #getoutofmyway

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

I support @itsajacksonnn by saying that the native need to go. And for good. We need our land for American citizens only. #buildawall

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

I did not allow state banks to gain national funds anymore which was a great move, although haters like the whigs will never agree #fth

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

@itsajacksonnn nothing against you, but many people blame your administration on the crisis. I do not. The bank is responsible

[martinvan @itsmartinvan]

I was given the presidency at the worst time- a HUGE economic disaster that led to the Panic- I didn't let that stop me though
