Yes, those photos you’ve seen are real.
More than 18 years ago, a baby named Lamine Yamal and his mom Sheila met Lionel Messi at a UNICEF fundraising photoshoot.
Today, their achievements on the pitch inspire millions. Off the pitch, both Messi and Lamine Yamal use their voices and platforms as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors to support and advocate for children around the world.
The goal? That every child survives, thrives, and fulfils their potential.
We are proud to have them on our team.

Some “app growth hacks” I’ve seen on Twitter over the last few weeks, + the potential consequences for employing those hacks:
📈 Ask for someone’s age during onboarding, or use signals like their preferred text size to guess, then charge users you think are older more
⚠️ Age discrimination in pricing is illegal in plenty of places. Tinder charged older users more for the same subscription and recently agreed to a $60.5 million settlement in California
Guessing someone’s age from an accessibility setting instead of asking them doesn’t make it better
📈 Ask for someone’s phone number during onboarding, then use an iMessage payment plugin to send them an offer that bypasses the store fee
⚠️ Sending automated marketing messages without explicit consent can expose you to TCPA damages of $500 per message, or $1,500 for knowing/willful violations
That’s per message. Per recipient.
📈 Hide your real payment flow from App Review, then remotely enable it once the app is approved
⚠️ Your app gets removed and your entire developer account gets terminated
📈 Pop up a fake discount spinner after someone rejects your first paywall, programmed to always land on the highest discount
⚠️ You’ve built a deceptive chance mechanic to manipulate someone into buying. That can lead to consumer protection enforcement, fines, refunds and App Store action.
I don’t want to be the “app police”. You do you.
But we (@RevenueCat) only make money when you make more money
If your app gets pulled from the App Store, or you’re bankrupted by a fine or lawsuit, you’re not making any money and we’re not making any money
So please take app growth advice from Twitter influencers with a grain of salt
“Other apps are doing it” is not legal advice
