I got tired of asking my dev "what did you actually ship today?"
Every. Single. Day.
So I built something to fix it.
🧵 Thread on why GitHub commits are useless (and what I did about it)
went quiet for a few weeks.
wasn't sure if anyone cared about what i was building, but i kept getting the same question from non-technical founders:
"how do i know if my developer is actually making progress?"
so i'm back. building shipanel in public again.
translates code changes into plain english for founders.
@ayushagarwal@dodopayments you can combine two frameworks. i am using astro for the seo and marketing pages. and react for the app. and astro has a middleware.js that controls which framework to use based on the route. so it is using astro as the default and switches to react for the app routes
Day 6 of building shipanel in public.
I just finished the login with google functionnality. it works great.
I just got my second verified signup. let's gooo
@ShawkyMesbah Thanks man.
Shipanel helps non-tech founders understand dev progress without the jargon. It translates your dev's code commits into plain English.
