@connor_arland Hi Connor! Try making your bed immediately after waking up and taking a cold shower in the morning to be more productive 💙
It's a new habit I've been doing recently😂 Small wins to start the day!
@carolinaposma Thanks for reminding me about this! Another mistake I often make before is focusing more on writing about my interest rather than my target audience's interest.
Grammar classes bored me to death. Instead, I learned how to write/speak native-level English by:
- Reading lots of books and magazines
- Watching a lot of English-language movies
- Listening to English songs
- Interacting with native English speakers
The only thing better than seeing your own Twitter audience grow?
Watching the audiences of the people around you grow!
Checking out someone’s account and seeing 500 followers is powerful when you met them at 25
2 million articles are published every day on the web.
Almost none use STORY properly.
Storytelling -> 5 steps to be more persuasive, interesting, and memorable:
You could spend hours trying to craft the perfect tweet you think will resonate with your audience.
Or you could rapidly test different tweets and measure what resonates based on feedback.
One of these guarantees you'll produce high-quality content your audience values
The Paradox of Failure:
The only way to achieve more success is to experience more failure.
It's impossible to accomplish anything meaningful without bumps along the road.
You have to fail to succeed.
The Effort Paradox;
The things that appear effortless required the most effort.
Making something look easy required years of consistent effort and practice.
The Risk Paradox:
The only real risk is not taking any risk.
- to make money you have to risk losing money
- to gain time you have to risk time building a business
Playing it safe gets you nowhere
The Locksmith Paradox:
The more skilled you become at a task, the less time it will take you to complete the task.
People will attribute less value to your skill because it took you less time. Even though you're more skilled.
