@myGovau YES. As mentioned in my thread, I tried two different PC's, and 3 different browsers, yesterday, and again today! But I have since uninstalled the App & reinstalled it, tried again, and bizarrely it now works. So I have finally submitted my claim. But it should not be this hard.
Alright @myGovau, @ServicesGovAU, @centrelinkgovau: having been unable to get thru on the phone, I had to visit my local Centrelink to get a Linking Code. The staff member there agreed the website is broken, & we had to dodge 2 other "known" errors before the code validated.
@ServicesGovAU hi team, the marriage registration certificate form to verify change of name on the Centrelink site (when trying to connect @centrelinkgovau to @myGovau) isn't working. Keeps telling me I've entered details wrong, but they're correct.
@myGovau I tried that in the Express Plus Centrelink App. I tried uploading both a .pdf, and a .jpg. I am running the latest version of the app, of my phone, and of my phone's internet browser. Is there something else I should do?
Now the @centrelinkgovau website throws an "unexpected" & "undefined" error when I try to upload a payslip. It's a 67kb pdf, within the req specs. I've tried on 3 browsers, on 2 laptops & via the app. I've tried pdf & jpg. Why is this so damn hard? Do you need my 1st born child?
Having successfully updated my surname to my married name, it seems I'm now unable to change my title to "Ms" or "Mrs" online - the website tells me to visit a @centrelinkgovau office. This is ridiculous, but whatever.
@caitlinwintaur @thebigjohnnyd@shot_au With you on PPL. I'm stuck in hell loop where the system will not accept my marriage certificate to verify my name change. I've used my passport, driver's licence & Medicare card to validate my identity, and my marriage certificate was used to create all of them. @ServicesGovAU
I work in data, CRM & websites, so I get that this stuff is complex/forms can be buggy. But I'm also 8 mths pregnant, and trying to set up Parental Leave payments while dealing with Covid. I can't go to a service centre, and I've been on hold for 20 mins, twice. A little help?

I've tried entering without the slash and with 00 at the front as suggested by a verified response to help ticket on the @ato_gov_au community page, but that doesn't work either. Apparently this was a known issue that was fixed on ATO site in 2022, why not on Centrelink?
Today's Codeword in @theage offers some rather good band name ideas 💡

@gingerandhoney Surely it has to work in all tenses, and "I have taken the decision" sounds wrong to me. Where did you take it? Who have you taken it from? But if we assume "to take" means "to adopt" you don't adopt a decision; you adopt an opinion, or a position. You MAKE (made) a decision.
I'm fortunate to have a supportive flexible workplace that allows me to take time for healthcare. But not everyone does. And not everyone can afford the time or money involved in endless appts, just to get pain relief. It shouldn't be this hard
#EndometriosisAwarenessMonth
6 years ago today, I woke to a diagnosis of Stage 3 Endometriosis. I've since had 3 more surgeries for Endo & Fibroids, and 16 rounds of fertility treatment including 8 embryo transfers. I still have Adenomyosis. But no kids. #ThisIsEndometriosis#EndometriosisAwarenessMonth
GPs and policy makers will probably say these "due processes" stop people abusing the system. Maybe they do. But I suspect they also stop a lot of people getting the care and support they need in an appropriate time frame. Is it any wonder an endo diagnosis can take 7-10 years?
