Everyone leaves something behind.
Some people leave companies.
Some leave books.
Some leave inventions.
I hope I leave my understanding of love.
So that years from now, someone falls in love a little differently because they once read my words.
#Loverboy ♥️
Reached home 40 minutes ago. Still sitting in the car because @youtubemusic keeps playing one dangerously personal banger after another, and I refuse to interrupt the plot.
@AppleMusic , you’ll never be her.
@Spotify , play another ad and stay out of this.
I’m the kind of person who’ll remember the thing you mentioned once and gift it months later but if it’s something that was mine, with a handwritten note, just know you’re not somewhere in my life casually.
Why I Keep Going Back
People ask why I keep disappearing into the mountains.
I usually say, “I like trekking.”
But that’s never been the real answer.
I don’t go there to escape life.
I go there to remember how to live it.
You pack light.
Not because you want to.
Because you have to.
I realised life works the same.
We carry expectations, failures, guilt, grudges, the pressure to become someone by a certain age, and the need to prove ourselves to people who may have stopped thinking about us.
Then we wonder why life feels heavy.
The mountain never asked why I carried so much.
It simply refused to carry me further.
The higher you want to climb, the lighter you have to become.
Farther up the trail, there’s often a tiny home.
A family, a few animals, and a life most of us would call “too simple.”
Yet they look happier than people I know who have everything.
How many things do I truly want…
and how many do I want only because I know they exist?
Before I knew luxury cars existed, I never wanted one.
Before I knew bigger lives existed, mine never felt small.
Maybe desire isn’t always born within us.
Maybe it’s introduced to us.
The more the world shows us, the more our own life feels incomplete.
Maybe peace isn’t knowing everything.
Maybe it’s trusting life to show you what you’re meant to see.
At the base, everyone starts together.
Everyone wants the summit.
But as the trail gets steeper, the crowd disappears.
Some stop because they’re tired.
Some because they’re scared.
Only a few keep climbing.
Life isn’t very different.
Everybody wants the view.
Very few fall in love with the climb.
Sometimes someone who has finished passes you while coming down.
For a moment, you wonder if you’re too slow.
Then you realise…
they started before you.
Different path.
Different pace.
Different mountain.
The mountain never judged my speed.
Only I did.
Eventually, you reach the top.
Then the mountain reminds you…
you can’t stay.
Every summit comes with a return ticket.
Maybe success was never meant to be a place we live.
Maybe it’s just a view we’re lucky enough to borrow.
The higher you climb, the quieter it gets.
Not because the mountain is silent.
Because fewer people are beside you.
Sometimes the people you love are still below.
You want them to understand what you can see and why the climb mattered.
But some views cannot be explained.
They have to be experienced.
Love doesn’t always mean walking the same path.
Sometimes it means accepting that you’re climbing different mountains.
The mountains also take away something else.
Noise.
No network.
No notifications.
No endless scrolling.
Just my footsteps…
and my thoughts.
Then the voice you’ve been drowning out finally gets to speak.
Your fears.
Your regrets.
Your dreams.
Your truth.
That’s the real reason I keep going back.
Because out there, there is nowhere left to run.
Not from the world.
From myself.
Every time I return, my problems are still waiting.
Nothing outside has changed.
But somehow…
I have.
I compare less.
I complain less.
I notice more.
I carry less.
The mountains never gave me answers.
They gave me better questions.
What am I carrying that no longer belongs to me?
Am I chasing this because I want it…
or because the world convinced me I should?
Am I rushing because I’m late…
or because I’m looking at someone else’s clock?
Maybe that’s why I keep going back.
Not because the mountains fix my life.
But because every time I leave…
I return a little lighter than the person who arrived.
And maybe that’s all we’re trying to become.
Not richer.
Not more successful.
Not more important.
Just…
a little lighter than yesterday.
Hot take: most logo redesign stories r reverse-engineered theatre.
U changed the font, sharpened 2 letters & tweaked colour.
Then came a TED Talk on identity, childhood trauma & the brand’s vision for humanity.
Logo may look great.
Did the story design it—or just justify it?
@raftaarmusic@realkrsna LEGACY still has everything required to become the show Indian hip-hop deserves.
But names like @raftaarmusic and @realkrsna automatically raise expectations.
We don’t need another rap show with a few viral clips.
The bar must match the name.
#Legacy#Kalamkaar
LEGACY has the judges, the hype and the responsibility of filling the space @MTV Hustle left behind.
But three episodes in, let’s be honest:
Apart from 2–3 artists, the level has been painfully mid.
A show called LEGACY cannot afford an average bar.
It has to raise one.
@raftaarmusic@realkrsna The most refreshing surprise, though?
Khushi and Sanya MQ.
Female representation in Indian hip-hop is still painfully low. MTV Hustle gave us Agsy, and LEGACY might have found two more serious voices.
Not there for representation points.
They’re writing, performing and killing.
