@Shanael_ @AskADHD How was your journey with the process of trial and error? Were changes noticiable?

What do y’all do about feeling hopeless about starting and finding the right dose of meds? My psychiatrist is adamant we’ll find the right dose to help me, but sitting and twiddling my thumbs is excruciating. Currently on 45mg concerta XL #askadhd

@Shanael_ @AskADHD It’s been almost 3 months of increasing in increments of 18mg. He is pretty dead set on trying Concerta XL first, although has mentioned a few others if nothing changes. Thanks, appreciate the information. There’s so much they don’t tell you when prescribing drugs 🤪

@staceyiona @AskADHD Nothing as of yet. I’ve been steadily increasing doses. He’s deterred me from seeking any sort of counselling as I “may not be in the headspace to do the work efficiently” which I have mixed feeling about too
