Major General Nigar Johar, HI (M) promoted as Lieutenant General.
She is the 1st female officer to be promoted as Lieutenant General. The officer has been appointed as 1st female Surgeon General of Pak Army. Lieutenant General Nigar Johar hails from Panjpeer, District Swabi KPK.

As @UN commemorates Peacekeepers Day, services of Sepoy Amir Aslam from Kotli, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan acknowledged with posthumous award of Dag Hammarskjold Medal by @antonioguterres in virtual ceremony being held at UNHQ today. Soldier was serving in MONUSCO.

COAS & CAS visited PAF Base Mushaf. COAS was flown in an F-16. CAS flew in another F-16 & both aircraft proceeded to maneuver for a combat action simulation mission.
COAS lauded professionalism & dedication of PAF & thanked the Force for its unmatched services to the nation.1/2
